City of Aurora Phone System, Website, and Internet Are Now Restored!

Early Thursday morning, significant damage occurred to third-party fiber optic cables near Interstate 88, affecting the City of Aurora's internet providers. This incident resulted in the City being unable to connect to the internet, while also disabling the City's website and phone system.

Thank you to the City's IT Department, internet partners, and the Illinois Tollway.
