Public Transition Committees
The City of Aurora is seeking passionate and dedicated community members to serve on Public Transition Committees.
These committees will play a vital role in shaping the future of our city by providing valuable insights by working with City staff to develop recommendations informing the work of various City departments.
We are looking for individuals who are deeply committed to the Aurora community, possess relevant expertise and talents, and have a proven track record of working collaboratively to address community needs. We encourage community members from all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
Application Requirements:
To be considered for a Public Transition Committee applicants must:

Able to give 2-4 hours a month towards committee meetings.

Live in one of the counties the City of Aurora resides in or have connections to the community in a meaningful way.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to serving the Aurora community.

Be willing to actively participate in meetings and contribute meaningfully to the committee's work.

Be able to work collaboratively and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
