Are you in need of support with keeping your lawn cut this Spring/Summer?
The City of Aurora offers a Special Lawn Mowing program for qualified senior citizens and individuals with disabilities living independently in need of assistance with mowing their grass.
The Special Lawn Mowing Support Program includes the following:
Senior/Individual with disabilities Requesting Assistance
Seniors or individuals with disabilities living independently must apply to be considered for the Special Lawn Mowing Support Program. Those interested in applying must meet the eligibility criteria to be considered for approval. Applicants will be prioritized based on greatest need and program service capacity. Upon being approved, you will receive services beginning in April through October. There will be a set number of mows scheduled for each month.
Main Eligibility Criteria:

Aurora Resident

Senior 62 or older or an individual with a disability living independently

Have a serious medical condition

Financially unable to cover the cost for lawn mowing assistance

Do not have any other adults under the age of 62 living in the home capable of mowing the lawn

Do not have any family members or neighbors willing to mow the lawn
