Help Us Help You: Complete Your Safety Profile Today

The Aurora S.A.F.E Profile is a confidential profile to help first responders bridge the gap between residents' needs and emergency service. This profile allows our first responders—police, fire, and emergency medical personnel—to better understand your unique needs during an emergency or crisis.

The Aurora Police Department will submit this information into a database to assist the Aurora Police Department and the Aurora Fire Department with how to best serve this individual, if the need arises. Whether it’s a medical condition, mobility limitation, communication barrier, or cognitive concern, having this information in our secure system helps us respond with care, compassion, and preparedness.

We encourage all of Aurora’s older adults and residents with disabilities to complete a confidential safety profile to enhance your quality of life and ensure the right support is available when you need it most. If you have a family member who is a senior, or you yourself are a senior, please complete this form in its entirety

Your safety matters. Your voice matters.

Let’s work together to help you age safely and confidently in place.

Aging in Place Safety Program Phase II - Home Repairs

Supporting Safe, Independent Living for Aurora’s Seniors and Residents with Disabilities:

The City of Aurora’s Senior and Disability Services Division is expanding its commitment to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities live safely and comfortably in their own homes. As part of our Aging in Place Safety Program, we are currently developing Phase Two: Small Home Repairs, aimed at addressing minor but essential home repairs that can make a big difference in daily life and long-term well-being.

This program is being designed to assist eligible seniors and persons with disabilities who live independently with repairs and safety modifications that help reduce falls, increase accessibility, and promote peace of mind at home.

We invite you to partner with us by completing this Repairs Survey to help us gather the right data. Your input will directly inform how we shape this program—ensuring it meets real needs, prioritizes safety, and supports independent living.
