*2016 – Senate Bill 2814 - Future Energy Jobs Act (FEJA) was signed into law emphasizing renewable development and energy efficiency in Illinois. FEJA authorized a total of $30 million to develop and establish clean energy-related job training programs for Illinois citizens. These workforce development programs offer job and skill set training in the electric and solar industry, resulting in potential job placement in the clean energy, electrical, or construction sector. 

*2018 – the City of Aurora was awarded Gold-level designation under the SolSmart program.
