Payment Methods

You may pay a parking ticket by cash, check, or money order. You can mail your payment or make payment at the Motor Vehicle Parking Division, located at:
44 E Downer Place
Aurora, IL 60507

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please write your ticket number or license plate number on the check or money order. Please be advised that payment must be received or post-marked by the due date or hearing date, to avoid further penalties. Hours of Enforcement

On-street parking is enforced 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. City-owned parking lots are enforced 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Free Parking

Parking is free on the following holidays:

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • City Sponsored Special Events

Overnight Parking

Parking is prohibited on all streets in the central business district between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
