BEGINNING TODAY: City of Aurora Conducts Special Finance Committee Meetings For 2026 Budget
Beginning today at 1 P.M., the City of Aurora will begin conducting Special Finance Committee Meetings, reviewing each Department's proposed budget ahead of the 2026 budget cycle. The 2026 budget process will conclude with a final overview at the City’s Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday, December 2 at 5 P.M. with approval set to take place at the Tuesday, December 9 City Council meeting, which begins at 6 P.M. All meetings will take place on the second floor of City Hall, located at 44 E. Downer Place. Members of the public are invited to engage in, and be a part of the City’s 2026 budget process! Each meeting will contain opportunities for public comment and will be live-streamed on the City of Aurora’s YouTube channel, Aurora Community Television (Channel 10 Xfinity/Channel 99 AT&T U-Verse), the City of Aurora’s Twitch Channel, and the City of Aurora app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
