City sponsored Trick or Treat at Wilder Park.

The City of Aurora’s annual trick-or treating event will allow Aurora families the chance to get a head start on goodies as Halloween weekend kicks off this Friday.

The City Hall-O-Ween event at Wilder Park (350 N. River St.) in Aurora will take a fun and spooky turn, as over a dozen participating groups will give out treats and candy to Aurora youth from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. on Friday, October 30.

In addition to candy galore, DJ Suave Smooth will be on-site to provide spooky spins as musical entertainment. Also tempting attendees that afternoon will be a special, thrilling dance mob.

In 2025, close to 1,000 attendees joined City staff and leaders at Wilder Park, where each candy-giving tent is made up of members of City Hall’s various departments and divisions.

To mitigate overcrowding within Wilder Park, event staff will regulate the queue into the Park on River Street. Families are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the festivities in downtown Aurora.
