Emergency Shelter 

Emergency shelters provide safe, warm places for those with no other options. Organizations like Hesed House and Mutual Ground offer overnight shelter and essential services, ensuring that individuals have a safe and accessible location.

Rapid Rehousing

Rehousing programs provide subsidized rent and case management for individuals and families facing recent housing crises, helping them secure stable housing while accessing necessary resources.

Permanent Supportive Housing

“Permanent housing in which housing assistance (e.g., long-term leasing or rental assistance) and supportive services are provided to assist households with at least one member (adult or child) with a disability in achieving housing stability.” (HUD, 2024)

Diversion resources can swiftly address housing insecurity. In addition to food and shelter, programs like those at the Interfaith Food Pantry, Hesed House, and AID offer job training, case management, and family reunification services to help clients achieve self-sufficiency.
