Biking

The City of Aurora aims to be a bicycle-friendly community and promotes bicycling throughout the city.

In downtown Aurora, a green dedicated bike lane protects riders from traffic, connects to major regional trails, and sharrows alert vehicles to routes commonly used by bicyclists.

Cycling plays a pivotal role in reducing carbon footprints and promoting greener and healthier urban living. Biking benefits the environment and encourages a shift towards a more sustainable and healthier lifestyle like diminishing air pollution, lower carbon emissions, reducing noise pollution, minimal road impact, efficient use of space, and energy efficiency
