CEJA Workforce Development Hub
In early 2026, the City of Aurora launched the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) Workforce Development Hub, which will serve as a magnet for both living-wage job creation and innovative green job training.
The CEJA Workforce Development Hub is the first to launch in the City of Aurora and one of thirteen established statewide in conjunction with the Clean and Equitable Jobs Act. The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has pledged to allocate $180 million annually to workforce and community programs like the CEJA Workforce Development Hub.
Programming at the Hub will be delivered by community-based organizations and partners, including the City of Aurora, 548 Foundation, and College of DuPage.
For a list of current offerings out of the 548 Foundation, please contact Fred Navarre - Program Director, and visit the 548 Foundation's Programming page.
