The Fox Valley Sustainability Network brings together the public and private sectors from around the Fox Valley to cut across boundaries and create a healthy, sustainable and vibrant Fox Valley.
The City of Aurora is a founding member of the Fox Valley Sustainability Network. The network was the outgrowth of the 2015 GreenTown event hosted in Aurora where then Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner urged participants to work together to ensure the further development of healthy, sustainable communities in the Fox Valley region.
The Network was thus formed to be an ongoing entity working on various issues and projects within the Valley. It marries a strong communications infrastructure with a series of action-oriented events and forums to connect the dots as the members seek to remake their communities and create an environmentally sustainable region. The Fox Valley Sustainability Network is a project of Seven Generations Ahead, City of Aurora, Kane County, and a5 Branding and Digital in collaboration with Fox Valley communities and counties.
More information about the network and the upcoming events can be found on their website.
