Aurora, we've got some news...
For the first time since 2019, in partnership with the Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Fiestas Patrias Parade!
Our search for a grand marshal has begun! Nominate someone who actively promotes and champions Hispanic culture and community in Aurora by clicking the link below. Submissions are due by 5:00 P.M. on August 8th.
Want to join as a unit in this year's parade? Connect with our Special Events Team at parades@aurora.il.us and share your unit details! Hurry, space is limited, and we’re eager to showcase units that capture the vibrant spirit and celebration of this incredible event!
We've got one last thing - join us for our community meeting on Thursday, July 31 from 6-7 P.M. at City Hall (44 E. Downer Place) to share your ideas for enhancing Fiestas Patrias festivities!
