We as the City of Aurora have taken the first official step to build the Orchard Rd., sound wall by launching a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), seeking a qualified contractor to design a noise barrier to protect residents along Orchard Rd.
While still pursuing funding sources to build the wall, we are seeking a qualified Engineering firm with experience building noise barriers to design the sound wall along Orchard Rd. If the City is able to secure funding and come up with an affordable design, construction will begin mid to late 2026.
