Join the City of Aurora as we celebrate our favorite furry friends! The 8th annual Aurora Pooch Parade will take place on Sunday, October 4th, beginning at 11:00 AM at Wilder Park (350 N. River St., Aurora, IL 60505)
To enter:
All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
All must be socialized.
All must have a standard leash while at the event.
An application must be submitted by Wednesday, October 1st.
The first 125 registrants are guaranteed a spot in the Parade and can compete for one of the following titles:
Biggest Dog
Smallest Dog
Best Costume
Twinsies (Owner & Dog)
Most Energetic
Fan Favorite
Event Application Goes live on September 4th, 2026.
We welcome all dogs who were unable to register for participation to come out to Wilder Park, mingle with the other dogs, experience the parade, and check out the many pet vendors!
