Get familiar with our Buying Plan
The Buying Plan is designed to make local businesses aware of the upcoming purchasing needs for a range of departments. The Buying Plan lets vendors interested in providing their goods/services be informed, prepared, and ready to respond to the City’s solicitations.

Complete a Vendor Packet
A Vendor Packet will be required from all businesses that are awarded a bid. This registration requires you to provide specific information including but not limited to: contact information, a W9, EFT registration, and more.

Upon completing the fillable Vendor Packet, please email it to PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us. Contact Purchasing for questions about your vendor information.
Sign up for Bid Notifications
Notifications are sent out via email for projects above $25,000. The best way to make sure your business is considered for projects over $25,000 is to sign up for bid notifications and submit bids when they become available. For more information on these solicitations and how to bid, click here.
For projects under $25,000, the City of Aurora will rely on completed vendor packets within our vendor database to begin the informal bidding process. The best way to make sure your business is considered for purchases under $25,000 is completing and submitting a vendor packet.
