How do I know what county I live in?

It is important to know which county you reside in. Certain county services are only available for residents of that county. 

If you are an Aurora resident but are unsure of your residing county, you can find your county on your voter registration card. You can enter your address into the City's My Place Website to find your county as well. The image below uses City Hall as an example, with the address' county information highlighted.

Examples of addresses found within each of our four counties can be found below:

  • DuPage: 3900 Gabrielle Ln, Aurora, IL 60598
  • Kane: 44 E. Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60505
  • Kendall: 1521 Ogden Ave., Aurora, IL 60503
  • Will: 555 S. Eola Rd., Aurora, IL 60504

City of Aurora rental properties are located in one of these four counties. For information about court operations, online access to court records, e-filing information and forms, contact the DuPage County Circuit Court, Kendall County Circuit Court, Kane County Circuit Court, or Will County Circuit Court.
