Grant Funding Opportunities
The programs listed below are grant funding opportunities available through the Community Development Division. Each program is funded through either federal, state, or local funds.

Federal Grants
Community Development Block Grant funds are granted directly to the City of Aurora to assist low to moderate income persons who earn 80% of the Chicago-Joliet-Naperville Area Median Income or below.
HOME is provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide decent, affordable housing for low income individuals.
HOME-ARP funding is used to create affordable housing opportunities and support services for populations who are at-risk of or are experiencing homelessness.
State Grants
The Opioid Use Disorder Program is a one-time funding opportunity from the state to support services that focus on the treatment, prevention, and abatement of Opioid Use Disorder.
Local Grants
The Aurora Affordable Housing Fund (AAHF) is funded through casino gaming tax revenue and is used to fund programs and opportunities that align with the O.N.E. Aurora Affordable Housing Strategy.
Quality of Life Grants are annual competitive grants provided to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that serve the residents of Aurora.
