MLK Day
Beyond the Dream: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Commemoration
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. famously asked, "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’" His leadership in the American civil rights movement transformed the nation, inspiring generations with his vision of justice, equality, and nonviolent change. Dr. King’s dream of a "Beloved Community"—a society built on justice, equal opportunity, and love for fellow human beings—continues to shape communities across the country, including right here in Aurora.
